Princess Diana’s Simple Biography


Princess Diana was born in 1 July 1961. She was born at Norfolk England. Princess Diana was married by a handsome and good looking guy named Prince Charles. She has got two children named Prince William and Prince Harry from her married.

Diana was first educated at Silfield School, in Norfolk, then at Riddlesworth Hall in Norfolk, and at Girls School in Kent where she was regarded as a poor student, having attempted and failed all of her O- levels twice.Diana reportedly excelled in swimming and diving, and longed to be a professional ballet dancer with the Royal Ballet. She studied ballet for a time, but then grew to 5'10", far too tall for the profession.

On 5 November 1981, Diana's first pregnancy was officially announced, and she frankly discussed her pregnancy with members of the press corps. In the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital, London on 21 June 1982, Diana gave birth to her and Prince Charles's first son and heir, William. Amidst some media criticism, she decided to take William, still a baby, on her first major tours of Australia and New Zealand, but the decision was popularly applauded. By her own admission, Diana had not initially intended to take William until it was suggested by the Prime Minister of Australia.

On 31 August 1997, Diana was fatally injured in a car crash in the road tunnel in Paris, which also caused the deaths of her then boyfriend, Al- Fayed and the acting security manager of the Ritz Hotel, France,Henry Paul, who was their chauffeur. Millions of people watched the princess's funeral.In 1997, The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund was founded.

WHY HER ?


Princess Diana was a passionate champion of the rights of disadvantaged people and did much to highlight the plight of people living with HIV or AIDS, offering a visible helping hand to those in need. She used her high profile to raise awareness and funds for charitable causes while fighting the stigma associated with “unpopular” causes. Diana is noted for two major contributions to humanitarianism and during her lifetime, she was President or Patron of over 100 charities.
